David Moyes ‘Has Left’ Manchester United

In a story that has been doing the rounds since yesterday and has had our friends in a knot, Manchester United manager David Moyes has ‘left the club’.

The news came via the English Premier League Football club’s official Twitter account on Monday morning in which it it added:

The club would like to place on record its thanks for the hard work, honesty and integrity he brought to the role.

The deposed champions have endured their worst run in the league in generations and it simply was a case of the board and the lot losing patience with the Scot, handpicked by his predecessor Sir Alex Ferfuson.

Speculation has been that Ryan Giggs and Nicky Butt will take over the reigns until the end of the season with Dutch coach Louis Van Gaal expected to take over in the summer. If not him then Borrusia Dortmund’s Jurgen Klopp or Atletico Madrid’s Diego Simeone. Both however have said they are happy at their current clubs.

Maybe their fans will start filling up our Zimbabwe pubs again. Will they be as noisy?
