Darikwa leads Wigan Athletic to English League One title

Zimbabwe international Tendayi Darikwa has led his Wigan Athletic to automatic promotion in English League One.

The Latics will now play in the SkyBet Championship next season after beating Shrewsbury Town 3-0 on Saturday.

Will Keane scored twice after Josh Vela scored an own goal in the first half.

Rotheram have also gained automatic promotion while third-placed MK Dons will have to go through a play-off.

Dairkwa captains Wigan Athletic who are now League One champions.
