Web-based cricket platform CricTracker has named Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza as its T20I Player of the Year.
It was as part of its awards dolled out on 31 December 2023.
Now, there is no doubt that Raza has been a standout performer for Zimbabwe, even as he failed to help his side to the T20 Cricket World Cup 2024, following an ill-fated Qualifier in Namibia.
So that is not why we said, but…
It is the image CricTracker put up as they announced the winners on X. And it just looks nothing like Raza.
It is a bit of a mess really, but we move.
