CRICKET: Zimbabwe women to play Ireland in July [itinerary inside]

Ireland has confirmed the itinerary for Zimbabwe women’s tour in July 2019.

Ireland will face Windies in three Twenty20 Internationals in late May, before taking on Zimbabwe in July in three 50-over matches and as many T20Is. The three T20Is against Zimbabwe will form part of three double-headers, with Ireland’s men taking on Zimbabwe’s men at the same location.

By that time Mary-Anne Musonda and her charges will hope to have made it to the T20 World Cup Global Qualifier. Zimbabwe host the Africa leg in May.

In what is a busy year for the ladies, they will take part in a triangular involving Uganda in April in preparation for that tournament.
