Zimbabwe-born British heavyweight Derek Chisora showed massive courage in his points loss to Joseph Parker on Saturday.
Chisora suffered three knockdowns – one off the canvas and two standing – but picked himself up to fight till the end, conceding to a unanimous decision.
He slugged his way and ended up losing 115-110, 115-111 and 114-112.
In the opening round Chisora did floor Parker with a looping right though.
“Derek is a credit to the sport of boxing, the crowd went crazy for him,” said Parker of his opponent.
Chisora was born in Mbare, Harare in 1983. He and his family moved to the UK in 1999.
