Chirewa, Chiwome make Premier League history

Two Zimbabwean youngsters have made history in the prestigious English Premier League.

Leon Chiwome and Tawanda Chirewa became the first players from the Southern African country to feature in the same side in a Premier League.

Chiwome made his debut for Wolverhampton Wanderers, while Chirewa came on as a second half substitute.

Both are yet to feature for the Warriors but have expressed interest in doing so in the future. Chiwome has played for England at age-group level.

They were born in England to Zimbabwean fathers.
