Chingoka Quits As Zimbabwe Cricket Chairman

It is the end of an era for Zimbabwe Cricket after its chairman Peter Chingoka stepped down from his position.

Chingoka presided over a period in which the game in the country reached a zenith and then went through its rockiest period including alleged financial impropriety.

He had been serving in that role since 1992, yes 22 years.

Wilson Manase will act as interim chairman. He was Chingoka’s deputy.

Bring out the tequila.
