Chigumbura To Miss Ireland Tie

Zimbabwe have been dealt a blow after the loss of skipper Eton Chigumbura for the tie against Ireland in the International Cricket Council World Cup.

Chigumbura tore a muscle during the loss to Pakistan on Sunday after tripping and falling over while fielding.

Team manager Christian Chiketa was quoted by by Zimbabwe Cricket as saying:

The  physiotherapist is working hard to try to get him ready hopefully for the India match.

Zimbabwe play the Irish who On Tuesday lost heavily to South Africa on Saturday in Hobart, Australia.
