Chicksen’s Notts County reach play-off final

Zimbabwe international Adam Chicksen’s Notts County side have made it to the final of the National League play-off after beating Boreham Wood 3-2 on Sunday.

He played 78 minutes in the match which went to extra time.

Boreham Wood looked like they were getting to the final as they led 2-1 through Femi Ilesanmi and Bulawayo-born Lee Ndlovu.

Aden Baldwin scored in the sixth minute of injury time, completing a brace.

Penalties looked on.

Except Jodi Jones produced a screamer to win the match right at the end of extra time. What a timen and way to grab your first goal for the club.

Notts County will face Chesterfield or Bromley in play-off final, with the winner punching their ticket to join Wrexham in the Football League 2.

Chicksen has played twice for Zimbabwe.
