Charlton boss provides update on Bonne injury

Charlton Athletic boss Lee Bowyer expects his Zimbabwean striker Macauley Bonne back soon, as he spoke ahead of the Addicks’s SkyBet Championship tie against Barnsley.

He was quoted as saying:

Macauley Bonne is outside running and kicking balls. He’ll be about a week or 10 days, I guess.

Bonne has not featured for the struggling London side since just before the new year.

Bonne is the joint top goalscorer with 8 goals. Lyle Taylor joined him on that number of goals after netting the opener in the 2-1 win over Barnsley.
