Chapungu-Dynamos match judgement finally handed out

The abandoned match between Dynamos and Chapungu will resume in 56th minute, the Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee has revealed.

The match was abandoned after a goal post collapsed at Ascot Stadium in Gweru and could not be restored with the Harare giants leading 4-0.

Precedence states that the match should have continued 48 hours later with the same set of players.

At this stage no date has been set for the continuance of the match which will resume at that scoreline. And also with the rule being the same set of players should be involved, one wonders if those will be playing for the same club or be free of injury when this happens.

Yes, it took a month to decide something we knew was the rule already.
