CAPS United Hand Dynamos League Title Again

Sloppy  defending from ZPC Kariba meant Dynamos Football Club were crowned champions of Zimbabwe’s Castle Lager Premer Soccer league for the fourth time in a row.

ZPC went into the final day needing a draw after leading the Glamour Boys by 2 points.

Absolutely criminal defending had Makepekepe leading 2-0 after four minutes of panic Limited Chikafa then drew one back but on the stroke of half-time some absolutely comical work at the back pulled Caps further.

Late on ZPC pulled it back to 3-2 but it was not to be as strikers snatched at chances.

ZPC coach Saul Chaminuka said his defence were to blame as they failed to handle the pressure.  He said he was proud of his charges even though they didn’t win the league. The team played all its games away from home.

Dynamos meanwhile beat How Mine 2-0 to benefit from a CAPS United result over a team directly competing against them for the second year in a row.

Congratulations to Calisto Pasuwa again.
