Beleaguered Nakamba left out of Aston Villa match day squad for Liverpool

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has left out the beleaguered Marvelous Nakamba from his English Premier League match day squad for the tie against Liverpool.

The Zimbabwe international has fallen far down the pecking order since the middle of last season. Previous boss Steven Gerrard used him until his injury.

Nakamba has not started a single match in the league. His action has been limited to the Carabao Cup. He was used during the Fifa World Cup break for one of the friendlies.

Emery has said there will be some departures from Villa and it appears as if he is one of them.
