Asiagate bans lifted [full Zifa resolutions]

The Zimbabwe Football Association has revealed that the Asiagate bans have been lifted.

No further information was given in the resolutions revealed on the association’s website.

The full resolutions are as follows:

At the Zimbabwe Football Association Executive Committee meeting held on Friday, 08 January 2016 at the ZIFA Head office in Harare, the following resolutions were adopted.

1. Regional Chairpersons to be titled Regional Presidents.

2. ZIFA President Dr Phillip Chiyangwa to assume COSAFA, CAF and FIFA standing committee positions held by the previous ZIFA President.

3. ZIFA Executive Committee to undergo FIFA induction in due course.

4. The Zimbabwe Football Association Executive Committee has requested to meet the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League board of governors on the 12th of January 2016 at Crown Plaza Hotel, 10am.

5. Preparations are underway for the Bob 92 Cup.

6. Mr Ndudzo has been appointed to chair the Constitutional Review Committee.

7. ZIFA elections to fill vacant positions will be conducted as follows

Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Chairman, 13th February 2016

Masvingo Province Chairman, 13th February 2016

Women league Chairperson, 20th February 2016

Central and Eastern Regional presidents, 20th February 2016

Beach Soccer committee members, 21st February 2016

8. Asiagate bans have been lifted forthwith.

9. All standing committees have been dissolved with immediate effect.
