Arsenal, West Ham after Zimbabwean youngster – report

Top English Premier League sides Arsenal and West Ham are reported to be interested in the services of 18 year-old Zimbabwean midfielder  Tawanda Chirewa.

This is according to TWTD.co.uk.

The youngster is currently on the books of Ipswich Town, for whom he had a good under-23 season, in which he scored 12 goals, under the tutelage of Kieron Dyer and then John McGreal.

Chirewa, who qualifies to play international football for Zimbabwe, became Town’s second-youngest first-team player when he made his debut in the EFL Trophy tie at Colchester in November 2019 aged 16 years and 31 days old.

Arsenal and West Ham are keen on having him in their development squads.
