Acting coach Joey Antipas has left his job as coach of Zimbabwe, The Chronicle is reporting.
Antipas who was hired to do the job part-time while also serving as coach of title-chasing Chicken Inn, was contracted until the end of the year.
He leaves the job having qualified Zimbabwe for the CHAN 2020 finals, the World Cup 2020 group stage and sitting second in their group stage of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
If true, it leaves the Zifa board with slim pickings given that their prime possible targets Calisto Pasuwa and Norman Mapeza are otherwise occupied.
