Andrew Peebles wins his final!

Zimbabwean rower  Andrew Graham Peebles has won the final E in the men’s sculls singles at the Rio Olympics at day 6 of the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

The popular Peebles clocked 7 minutes 43.98 seconds almost six seconds ahead of Tunisia’s Jaruwat Saensuk.

While he will not a medal it is a good look for our boy.

Meanwhile Micheen ‘Mouse’ Thornycroft is in the B final of the women’s sculls. after coming 6th in the semi final of the women’s sculls singles.
