Norman Mapeza’s side completed the double over third-placed Highlanders with goals from Gerald Takwara, Walter Musona and Charles Sibanda at Mandava Stadium.

Mapeza was hit with an object thrown by Highlanders fans after Musona doubled FC Platinum’s lead. The coach was treated and returned to action but Bosso will be embarassed again with being associated with the violent section of their fans.

Meanwhile in Harare, Simba Nhivi’s goal was the difference making sure that they go into their final game away to Chapungu knowing a win will hand them their first title since 2005.

FC Platinum are on the road to Tsholotsho.

With both sides on the same goal difference any result that is not a win for CAPS means a victory for FC Platinum crowns them as champions. Caps United are on 60 points and FC Platinum on 58.
