THREE reasons we are excited about the launch of Zimbabwe’s first premium adult toy store

1 June 2020 saw Zimbabwe cross that divide that you cannot roll back.

Intimate Store, the first adult toy store to be licensed by the government has now gone online.

The toy store was launched in 2017 with an emphasis on discreet purchasing and delivery.

This is sex toys, lingerie, lubricants, the works

And we have three reasons why this is a big deal for the locals.

  1. Maybe we can make adventurous sex less taboo – The idea that these things have no precedence in Zimbabwe has gone out the window. After three years offline, the show going online says there is a market for it, be it for individuals, couples or larger groups. Stop pretending people are not having orgies folks.
  2. Not gonna have that oops moment at the airport – You’ve heard it a few too many times. Being asked to open your bag at the airport and out pops that dildo. And the horrid looks from the Judgie Judgingtons who act they have never had sex in their lives. We see you. Now you can make your purchase here and keep it moving. Or coming. Or whatever you want to call it.
  3. They are giving away something – For every adult toy purchased, Intimate Store is giving away a sanitary pad to girls from marginalised communities. So if you feel a little embarrassed about buying your first butt-plug, just know you did it to help someone. And hopefully, at some point, you will go and get some beads for yourself, all for charity. Or maybe Charity is a person. Who knows…

All the best kids and do remember to have fun.
