Zimbabwean Model Murdered In South Africa

Zimbabwean model, Christabel Sibanda, whose body was found in a playground last week was murdered in a suspected love triangle gone wrong.

The 24 year-old part-time model was married to a Nigerian Samuel David is believed to have been killed by 19 year-old Swazi college student Michael Josiah Tsabedze who was arrested in Boksburg last weekend. Tsabedze was found in possession of her car.

The police have not ascertained the reason for her murder but Tsabedze appeared at the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday. His case has been postponed to next month.

Sibanda lived in Yeovil with her husband and five year-old son.

She went missing on 8 September.

She was buried on Saturday at Warren Hills Cemetery.
