Zimbabwe tourism minister wins award at prestigious ITB Berlin travel show

Zimbabwe’s Minister of Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Priscah Mupfumira has picked up the Institute of South Asian Women-ISAW Woman Achiever Award for Empowering Women Through Education at the ongoing ITB Berlin travel show.

Zimbabwe was also nominated for two awards in the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association awards:

1. Sustainable Destination of the Year – Destination Zimbabwe‬
2. Tourism Minister of the Year Award to the Minister of Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Industry – Honourable P. Mupfumira

Zimbabwe is currently at the ongoing presitgious ITB Berlin, dubbed The World’s Leading Travel Show.
