Zimbabwe reverses beer sale ban

Zimbabwe’s police have reversed the ban on the sale of alcohol during the 21 day lockdown period.

The ban which was a weird idea was going to see Zimbabwe go cold cold Turkey until 19 April 2020.

Now the ban is gone.

We did have a few reasons why it was a bad idea.

The other one was, where would taxes come from if Delta, one of the biggest payers goes offline.

You can buy beer from bottle stores and supermarkets and drink it at home.

Mind you, some local brands cannot be found on the market so… meh.
