Zimbabwe government opens sit-in restaurants, safaris, national parks to locals

Zimbabwe has opened the tourism sector for locals.

Sit-in restaurants, safari operators for local hunting only and national parks have been granted.

Restaurants will only be allowed to have up to 50% capacity only as lockdown restrictions continue to be eased. They will have to engage in all containment measures.

This is a massive move for the tourism sector.

The news was announced by the cabinet decision matrix announced on Tuesday.
