Zimbabwe Association of Doctors for Human Rights on standby for medical care during demonstrations

The Zimbabwe Association of Doctors for Human Rights (Zadhr) has put out a notice to say its members are available to provide support for those ‘affected by demonstrations’

The statements said:

ZADHR Doctors are on standby to provide medical care to those affected by the demonstrations taking place across the country.

Our HOTLINE NUMBER is 0777604610. Kindly SMS, WhatsApp or call if in need of urgent medical attention.

Parts of Zimbabwe have been gripped by demonstrations after recent fuel increases announced by President Emmerson Mnangagwa. Protestors are also calling for the scrapping of 2% tax.

No comment has come from the government since the action began.
