Shocking footage of a man threatening to beat up a woman in Spur restaurant sparking outrage has gone viral.
The incident on Sunday happened at the Texamo Spur at the Glen Shopping Centre, east of Johannesburg.
The expletive-ridden video was recorded through a play area, sparked by the man accusing the woman’s daughter of hitting his son on the head. In return the woman who says her daughter is small accuses the man’s child of being a bully.
At some point the man threatens to give the woman a ‘klap’ before shaking the table.
Staff finally intervene which has sparked outrage. Public sentiment is over how long the Spur staff failed to quell the unsavoury situation watched by young children who were endangered. Some netizens have called for a boycott of Spur.
Spur has banned the man from all of its restaurants in South Africa.
