VIDEO: Harare-Johannesburg Intercape bus accident claims 10

An Intercape bus bound for Johannesburg from Harare has been involved in an accident with 10 people confirmed dead.

The accident was on the N1 South towards Johannesburg and the driver lost control about 30km outside Polokwane, hit the barricade and the bus went over, falling on its side.

At the time of the SABC report below, 10 people had died although it was feared the number would rise as emergency personnel were still attending to the bus. More bodies may have been trapped inside.

The number of people injured had not been confirmed.
