UZ medical graduates now qualify to practise in California

Big news coming out of the University of Zimbabwe’s medical department as it works to restore its international reputation.

It reported:

In a most exciting development, the Medical Board of California (USA) has formally recognized medical degrees offered by the College of Health Sciences, University of Zimbabwe.

The implication is that graduates of the College of Health Sciences are automatically qualified to secure licences to practice as physicians and surgeons in California. This landmark development is testimony of the far-reaching and quality training that characterizes the University of Zimbabwe.

Also, the Midlands State University will start offering medicine under the auspices of the UZ.
