South Africa president Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to announce that the country is moving to lockdown level 1 and lifting the ban on international travel, with provisions.
Reports say that visitors from high risk countries – the US and some major EU Countries- will remain banned.
What is interesting though, is that Brazil and Argentina, both high risk will be permitted.
Visitors will be expected to produce a Covid-19 negative certificate from within 72 hours of travel. They will have access without needing to quarantine first.
If they exhibit signs of illness, they will have to quarantine at own cost.
