SHAMBLES: Zera walks back on Ethanol blending reduction

Shambles mate.

After announcing that the ethanol blending in petrol would go down from 20% to 10% the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (Zera) has now walked back on that.

This is after ‘consultations made with government and ethanol suppliers’.

Mindboggling really.

It’s as if the left hand and the right hand are unaware of each others’ existence.

And the sign-off?

Kindly disregard the earlier circular and continue to blend at 20%.
