SA Postpones New Visa Rules For Children

South Africa’s Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba has postponed new regulations for minors traveling in or to that country.

Said Gigaba to reporters outside Cape Town parliament:

We have granted the postponement of these two particular requirements — the unabridged birth certificate and written permission, to June 1, 2015.

The new regulations had caused consternation – we use words like that –  with some saying there was not enough time to get organised.
