SA Permits Breakthrough For Zimbabweans

A new special dispensation permit for Zimbabweans in South Africa will soon be issued ending months of speculation after visa changes in that country.

South African acting Cabinet spokesperson Phumla Williams said:

Cabinet approved the new Zimbabwean dispensation process. The Minister of Home Affairs [Malusi Gigaba] will conduct a separate media briefing to announce details of this process.

We will give you information on that as soon as we get it.

Zimbabweans have been a special dispensation permit scheme for four years and it is set to expire at the end of this year.
