Rape-Accused Pastor Fingers Police

Rape-accused Independent End Time Message founder Robert Martin Gumbura has accused the police of coaching victims to accuse him of rape.

He faces 7 counts of rape  in which he is accused of using his position to force women to have sex with him. Most of the victims were threatened with being committed to the devil if they did not comply.

His lawyers say that a rival pastor Spoken Word Ministries leader Pastor Godwin Chitsinde connived with the victims to implicate him in rape charges.

Gumbura also stated that in some of the instances he intended to marry the women he is alleged to have violated and that the rape charges will not stick.

Gumbura’s trial continues today.
