Pistorious Wants To Leave South Africa

South African Olympic and Paralympic star Oscar Pistorious is asking to have his bail conditions relaxed.

This includes permission to leave South Africa. According bail restrictions imposed last month after he was charged with premeditated murder of his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp include, he not being allowed to return to the home where the shooting took place, giving up his passport, staying away from airports and abstaining from alcohol and drugs.

The state says it will oppose an application by Pistorious.
