Harare descended into chaos on Friday as police and NERA protestors clashed in the central business district.

The demonstration comes on the back of another littered with disturbances on Wednesday as the standoff between government and opposition parties escalated.

The demo had been sanctioned by the High Court for noon until 4pm but violence had started as early as 10am in the morning
