Nigeria Agrees Truce With Boko Haram; Girls To Be Released

News coming out of Nigeria is that the government has a agreed a truce with the militant group Boko Haram.

On top of that, the 219 girls who have been missing for months will be released as part of that deal.

The president’s principal secretary Hassan Tukur told the AFP news that the militant group had agreed to return the Chibok girls as part of discussions held between the federal government and Boko Haram.

Now we await the release of the girls.
