Nando’s Zimbabwe through its Twitter account has confirmed that one of the four people who was caught up in the roof collapse in Bulawayo has died.
It said:
@Nomatter_mbiza Hi, we’re deeply saddened to advise that 4 people have been involved in an incident at our Bulawayo store yesterday (1/2)
@Nomatter_mbiza One of whom has sadly passed. We’re assisting the families of those involved & have already embarked on a full investigation
The accident took place at at the Simbisa building between Leopold Takawira Avenue and Eighth Avenue on Jasomn Moyo Street.
The statement which tagged a few people comes as some active social media users were unhappy with the silence of the company.
Nandos Bulawayo remained closed on Sunday following the accident.
