Mnangagwa extends condolences to Chamisa family

Zimbabwe’s president Emmerson Mnangagwa has extended his condolences to opposition leader Nelson Chamisa and his family after the passing of the latter’s mother.

In a brief tweet, Mnangagwa said:

I was sad to hear of the passing of Ambuya Chamisa, the mother of Nelson Chamisa. Our thoughts and prayers are with @nelsonchamisa and the Chamisa family at this difficult time

Chamisa’s mother died suddenly at her home in Gutu on Monday.
