President Emmerson Mnangagwa has appointed Vice President Constatine Chiwenga as his new minister of health and child care.
The post became vacant after Obadiah Moyo was fired over graft. Higher Education Minister Prof Amon Murwira had been acting in his stead.
Chiwenga is no stranger to the health services. In 2018 he fired nurses and currently leads the Covid-19 national taskforce.
