Eleven people have died following a stampede at a Walter Magaya all-night crusade at Mbidzo Stadium in Kwekwe.
The police closed gates and only afforded one exit for the 15,000 congregants on Friday morning.
Then wait for this… POLICE FIRED TEARGAS INTO THE CROWD. Yes, just like at the Zim Dancehall concert.
So you have one exit and you fire teargas into the crowd and noone is thinking that, wait a minute… this is dangerous. Like where are people are going to run to?
Three minors and a pregnant woman were among the eleven dead on the spot.
Magaya himself says because it was his event, he and his church Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries would take blame for the tragedy.
Like on the real though… Like how do the police even make sense of all of this. Surely they have to take blame foe this too.
The crusade which was also to continue today will now be cancelled.
