Gumubura: Judgement Deferred To Thursday

The judgement against rape-accused pastor Robert Martin Gumbura was moved to Thursday.

Magistrate Hosea Mujaya moved the judgement date after an inspection in loco of Gumbura’s premises where the crimes are said to have occurded.

Why they decided to have an inspection today on the day of the judgement was a bit strange. We think that they want a conviction and they wanted a smoking gun. They could have done this before.

State Prosecutor Kudzai Chigwere has said she will have to reexamine witnesses on Thursday before verdict can be handed.

Gumbura is accused by 7 women of rape and also faces a porn rap.

So it’s tomorrow then.
