Convicted girlfriend killer Ptitchard Zimondi has had his appeal against conviction and sentence for the murder of his girlfriend thrown out.
Zimondi was sentenced to 18 years for the constructive murder with intent of Monalisa Chinomona.
His appeal was thrown out because it was late. He was convicted in 2014.
Justice Amy Tsanga also said that the fact that he had a late appeal, showed Zimondi had accepted his fate. The judge also said that the appeal had no prospects of success and the sentence itself was on the lenient side.
