After the announcement of an indefinite level 2 lockdown by the government of Zimbabwe, the company said:

Fastjet Zimbabwe advises customers that, following the latest update from the Zimbabwean government regarding the continued COVID-19 related travel restrictions, all flights on the schedule flight network shall be suspended up to and including Tuesday, 30 June 2020.

Given the unprecedented nature of the external factors currently challenging global airlines and the travel industry, our management team will continue to assess the situation daily. Fastjet remains committed to resuming flight services earlier than the revised date should there be any easing of the current restrictions on the movement of people.

Our flexible booking change policy allows all customers holding bookings to change these to future dates, with no fees or fare differences applicable. The “no fee and no fare difference” unlimited booking change policy is currently available until 30 September 2020. This forms part of the airline’s commitment to offering all customers peace of mind with the added flexibility of managing your future travel plans.

Oh well
