eNCA Shuts Down Africa Division

24-hour satellite news channel eNCA will shut down its Africa division, reports suggest.

This sees them canning their Africa360 programme.

The decision has been taken because the division has become financially unsustainable

This means retrenching of staff and the sort.  The news on e and kykNET will not be affected.

The TV channel (405 on DStv) and its website will continue to report on African issues and the sort using its network of stringers. When necessary it will deploy teams out of South Africa.

So essentially it is now a South African station, like officially.
