Air Namibia ceases operations

Air Namibia management has announced that it will cease operations from Thursday 11 February 2021.

“All flights will be cancelled with, with all planes returning to base”, read the notice.

Also offline will be reservations systems.

For those affected, refunds will be made available.

This comes after the cabinet of that country approved a voluntary liquidation of the national carrier, leaving 6oo employees jobless.
