21 January 2021: 639 new Covid-19 cases, 38 deaths

Zimbabwe’s cumulative Covid-19 cases crossed the 30,000 mark according to data released by the Ministry of Health and Child Care on Thursday.

A total of 639 new cases were recorded, with 293 of those in Harare.

There were 316 new recoveries.

As of 20 January at 15:00hrs thee were 272 hospitalised cases, 173 mild to moderat, 81 severe and 18 in Intensive Care Units.

There were 38 deaths.

As at 21 January 2021, Zimbabwe had 30 047 confirmed cases, including 19 569 recoveries and 917 deaths.

Zimbabwe is currently under a 30-day level four hard lockdown with curfews and stay-at-home orders.
