2023 Zimsec Grade 7 results out, pass rate goes up

The Zimbabwe Schools Examination Council (Zimsec) results for Grade Seven are out, and reflect an uptick in pass rate.

The rate went up to 45.57% from 40.09% last year.

372,603 candidates sat for the exams up from 343,169 last year. This was for one to six subjects. This was a rise of 7.89% rise in candidature.

193,520 were females, while 179,083 were males.

The pass rate for female candidates was 49.56%, while that for males was 41.21%.

Results will be available via the Zimsec web portal. In person, they will be at exam centres from Monday.
