15 Dead, 28 Injured In Nyanga Bus Crash

Zimbabwe’s national broadcaster ZBC is reporting that 15 people are dead while 28 have been injured after the commuter omnibus they were travelling in was involved in an accident this Sunday morning.

The accident is reported to have happened on the Nyanga-Nyamaropa road where the bus is said to have veered off the road around the same spot where an accident which claimed 90 in 1991 took place. 12 died on the spot and 3 died at the nearby Regina Coeli Mission Hospital

While the cause of the accident has not been made clear, this is another unnecessary loss of life. There is not much more that we can say that hasn’t said before about the use of roads.
