11 February 2021: 85 new Covid-19 cases, 18 deaths

Zimbabwe registered a spike in Covid-19 deaths according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Child Care on Thursday.

18 deaths were recorded up from 11 the day before.

There were 85 new Covid-19 cases, Bulawayo recording the highest with 23.

159 new recoveries were recorded meaning active cases dipped below 4,000.

As at 11 February 2021, Zimbabwe had 34,949 confirmed cases, including 29,630 recoveries and 1 382 deaths.

Zimbabwe is currently under a lockdown with curfews and stay-at-home orders that runs until 15 February 2021. The conditions are as set out below.
