Science says that you can drink a single cup of coffee or 25 of them and it would make no difference to your health.

Previous studies said it stiffens arteries and increases the likelihood of a stroke or heart attack.

Now after a study of over 8,000 UK people, showed that drink five or 25 cups of coffee was no worse than drinking less than one.

There were three groups in the sample of 8,412. The first drank less than a cup coffee, the second up to three cups and the third more than three, up to 25.

The results, with subjects being put under MRI scans show no difference in stiffening of arteries.

So according to Dr Kenneth Fung Queen Mary University of London , coffee ‘isn’t has bad for the arteries as previous studies would suggest;.

Drink on fam.

The research, part-funded by the British Heart Foundation (BHF), is being presented at the British Cardiovascular Society conference in Manchester.
