So about that successful total penis and scrotum transplant… we have questions

A complicated penis and scrotum transplant has been completed and declared successful by doctors at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

Now the replacement was for a veteran who lost his important extremity to an explosive device when he was in Afghanistan. His name has not been given because noone wants to have their middle name as a ‘dickless’ at some point.

While other penis transplants have been documented in the past, this latest operation was by far the most complicated. Doctors needed to go beyond replacing the genitals. They also a needed to replace huge piece of tissue and a section of the man’s abdominal wall. It took a swinging 14 hours to complete the operation, but doctors are now calling it a total success.

The complex nature of the operation meant making sure the right nerves, arteries, and veins were correctly attached before the skin could be joined and sealed.

As to when he can use it properly. Well they say six months when all feeling is restored in it.

But you know we have questions right?

  • So when he has sex is he also having it on behalf of, well you know?
  • Can this be applied for when a big dhara (like them big dudes with small egoes and lots of money) want to kidnap someone, chop of their penises because they are bigger and have one changed?
  • What happens if he has a boner during the recovery period?
  • What was the scrotum for? Because if that is gone you cant suddenly have kids? Is it just to look human?
  • How will he pee meanwhile?
  • Whose penis was it before?

We have so many questions.

Meanwhile watch below an animation from the hospital of how it all happened.
